Marble is metamorphasised rock from limestone composed mostly of calcite.
It is significantly softer than granite therefore is subject to greater wear and staining. Marble has natural beauty with stunning veins running through it, no piece the same with a wide range of colors and is a preferred material for interior installations.
Marble can be used for many stone surfaces including kitchen bench tops (with extra care), bathroom vanities, fireplaces and many commercial applications.
